HAMRO SAHARA (Nepalese for „Our Help“) offers children a stable home in difficult situations. An environment with a loving and appreciative approach, where they are supported in school as well as in personal matters. The children can develop freely, they are not led religiously or politically. However, it is important to us that they live the values and norms of Nepalese society and that they are imparted to them. The standard of living should correspond to the Nepalese average. We want to prepare the children as best as possible for an independent life. Our goal is to accompany and support each of our protégés until they have completed their vocational training. In a further step, we would like to contribute to the fact that society in Nepal moves away from the idea of giving up their children, selling them or using them for child labor. When we find out about a child who is about to be accepted into our home, we carefully investigate their situation. We check whether there is a possibility that, with our support, the child can stay in their familiar environment and in the family. We are of the clear conviction that a child’s own family is always irreplaceable.HAMRO SAHARA (Nepalese for „Our Help“) offers children a stable home in difficult situations.
